Davenports Farm Shop is a multi award winning shop and has one of the largest range of locally made food and drink from small suppliers, including a wide range of locally brewed beer.

Davenports specialise in homegrown tomatoes which are grown without use of pesticides, which are just delicious and taste just like they should do. They also offer a wide range of the best food and drink from around the UK, some of which is organic and try to ensure that there is something for everyone by including special diets such as gluten free, wheat free and diabetic. Davenports Farm Shop encourages environmentally friendly shopping with their wide range of eco-friendly cleaning products, paper and jute bags.

Visiting the farm shop has often been likened to visiting an Ironbridge period shop as it has been sympathetically fitted out using antique and old furniture, some of which has been in the family for years.

The Davenport family has been trading in the Cheshire area since the early 1930’s initially as a reputable baker and confectioners, then greengrocer and grower of quality flowers and plants. Davenports Florists situated within the farm shop is well worth a visit and offers beautiful handtied bouquets for every occasion.

Also within the Farm Shop, is Davenports Tea Room which is quaint and very English with its antique lace table cloths and china tea service. Davenports Tea Room offers a wide range of specialist teas and coffees and home baked cakes and the Afternoon Tea is very popular, but must be booked in advance. Internet Access is available and has proved useful to locals, boaters and business people alike. Davenports Farm Shop and Tea Room is wheelchair friendly and for the children situated within the grounds of the farm there are rare breed animals to see.

Davenports Farm Shop is a great base for walking, cycling, boating and horseriding as it is set in the beautiful Weaver Valley, just off the A49 holiday route, close to Cheshire County Council’s cycle route 5 and 10, adjoining the Trent and Mersey Canal and within a short walking distance from the River Weaver. If booked in advance, cycle hire is available in conjunction with Tracks-UK, and packed lunches can be available if pre-ordered.

Davenports regularly hold or are involved in special events, from the Mad Hatters Tea Party in June which includes a Weaver Vally walking quiz, to steam rallies and period re-enactments. Their Victorian Christmas week is well worth a visit. Vintage vehicles are regular visitors. Davenports Farm Shop is a family business for all the family and really does have something for everyone.
